Sinopsis

'Bridge is the most fascinating of card games. It is played by millions around the world, from top internationals to families and friends in their own homes. Above all bridge is fun.' Jeremy Flint and John Gullick have pooled their enormous experience of bridge, and of teaching the game, to produce this invaluable guide for absolute beginners, as well as those who already play but would welcome a refresher course. "The First Bridge Book" follows the very latest methods of teaching the game from bridge schools and follows also the ACOL system of bidding. All the rules, conventions and terms are explained here, systematically and sensibly for the newcomer to this aristocrat of card games. Above all, every page insists that bridge is fun!
