Sinopsis

This is the "Beat" Poetry scene, and Jason definitely knows the drill. He has been doing this for years, sharing the stage with some of the greats: Archibald MacLeish, Allen Ginsberg, Dan Sklar, and "Maestro Daryl" Ransom, to name a few. ROGUE READER is a volume of current work compiled over a 5 year period and contains a lot of social commentary on a number of subjects, from Climate Change, Covid 19, old Bitty's in huge SUV's on Vanderbilt Beach, to a re-examination of the Vietnam War based on Jason's personal combat experiences. These are some of his most hard hitting poems to date. If you know Jason's work from previous encounters with NERVOUS READER, then you will appreciate this volume of work. If you are new to the impact of Jason's poetry, then this is the perfect introduction.
