In, What We Talk About When We Talk About Cancer, Sean Daly tracks his cancer from initial diagnosis to potential recovery. He takes us on the journey through the maze of doctors, scans and cutting edge therapies while documenting his emotional and psychological travails that come along with it. The memoir, which includes 14 color illustrations, weaves in scenes of family, work, and play that converge into a long meditation of what it means to fully live in the shadow of illness.
