"Winter's Promise and Other Poems" is a collection of poetry by Eric Palmieri that takes the reader through natural landscapes and everyday New England life. Palmieri's plain and simple style of poetic prose is heavily influenced by the Spiritual practice of the New England Quakers, which emphasizes silent worship and contemplation. His debut publication, "Winter's Promise and Other Poems" won First Place (Medalist Winner) for poetry at the 2015 New Apple Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing and also received an Honorable Mention at the 2015 New England Book Festival.

Acerca del autor
Eric Palmieri is a Quaker author, poet, songwriter, and composer. His plain and simple writing style is heavily influenced by the Spiritual practice of the New England Quakers, which emphasizes silent worship and contemplation. He graduated from The Colorado College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in music composition. Eric Palmieri and his his wife, Lily, reside in North Providence, Rhode Island.
