Sinopsis

Both serious and satirical, - view is a collection of short poems that purposely conforms to a more modern style of poetry with the intention of attempting it seriously as well as parodying it, while reflecting upon a culture of expedience, obsession with fame, shortening attention spans, self-centeredness, and instant gratification. Deliberately cooked up quickly and served up fast, less than two months after the release of my second collection (Parables and Psalms for Tiresias), - view holds a mirror up to myself, the modern aspiring poet inhabiting social media platforms, and society at large, touching on the meaning of love and the inevitability of death that unites us all.
