Pierre-Richard Agenor is the Hallsworth Professor of International Macroeconomics and Development Economics and codirector of the Centre for Growth and Business Cycle Research at the University of Manchester. Peter J. Montiel is the Fred Greene Third Century Professor of Political Economy at Williams College.
