Vital Adult Learning is a practical handbook for church leaders who want to revitalize and dramatically expand their adult education ministry.  Wade Paschal begins with a careful analysis of the characteristics and needs of adult learners.  He then helps the reader: identify distinct "personalities" of classes; recruit and train teachers; adapt or create curriculum resources; and provide appropriate space and equipment.

R. Wade Paschal is Senior Pastor of First United Methodist Church, Ardmore, Oklahoma. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Preaching at Asbury Theological Seminary and Adjunct Professor at Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana. A graduate of Princeton University and Asbury Theological Seminary, Dr. Paschal holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University, Emmanuel College. He is a member of the Oklahoma Annual Conference and has written a wide variety of books and articles. He and his wife, Sandra Kay, have three children.

Herb Miller is recognized as an authority in church health and effectiveness. Author of 14 books, Herb has flown millions of miles conducting planning conferences with 700+ congregations. He has authored numerous columns for publications serving over one million people in twenty-five denominations.
