Investigating ritual in Greece from cross-disciplinary and transhistorical perspectives, Greek Ritual Poetics offers novel readings of the pivotal role of ritual in Greek traditions by exploring a broad spectrum of texts, art, and social practices. Acerca de los autores
Dimitrios Yatromanolakis is a former Fellow of the Society of Fellows at Harvard University and a recipient of the Berlin Prize.
Panagiotis Roilos is George Seferis Professor of Modern Greek Studies and Professor of Comparative Literature at Harvard University.

Dimitrios Yatromanolakis is Assistant Professor of Ancient Greek and Latin Literature in the Department of Classics, Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of Sappho in the Making: An Anthropology of Reception, and of numerous articles on archaic and classical Greek literature and cultural history, Greek vase painting, Greek papyri, and the anthropology of ancient music. Panagiotis Roilos is Associate Professor in the Department of the Classics, Harvard University. He is the author of Amphoteroglossia: A Poetics of the Twelfth-Century Medieval Greek Novel, and of numerous articles on medieval Greek aesthetics, oral poetics, Renaissance Greek poetry, and nineteenth- and twentieth-century Greek literature and society.
