The result in the schools has been farm arithmetic, farm geography, elementary textbooks in agriculture, and a demand for the enrich ment of the course of study - for country children, that country Chil dren be taught in terms of their own lives. Realizing that whatever it is on paper, the course of study is largely the teacher, and that enrichment of the course must come principally through enrichment of the teacher, we have labored most for better - trained teachers in our schools.
