The Mate Code is a delightful journey into deciphering the unspoken code of friendship through light-hearted illustrations and heartfelt sentiments.
From being there for your mates in times of need, to small gestures that show you care, The Mate Code reminds us with playful simplicity about the importance of showing kindness and generosity towards others - the essence of friendship.
The Mate Code is a beautiful and timeless book for children or adults to share with friends, mates, amigos, buds, sidekicks, or besties.
P.S. There are hidden coded messages to discover and solve!
"Whether you are reading this story alone or reading with a buddy, I know you'll enjoy every single page!
The light-hearted illustrations do highlight aspects of true friendship. It shares sentiments I agree with wholeheartedly and know many readers will also. For instance, "One great mate is better than 100 followers." As a parent, I reinforce this sentiment with my children. I tell them all the time that it's the quality of those around you, not the quantity, that matters in life. Having one great friend you trust completely and who trusts you is worth more than surrounding yourself with dozens of acquaintances you can not count on in good times or bad.
Children and adults will love their simple yet charming design. The drawings will make you smile! This entire book will brighten your day!
I plan to be a good mate and share The Mate Code with my friends. I encourage parents to share this book with their children...and ask what a true friend means to them!
Whether you are reading this story alone or reading with a buddy, I know you'll enjoy every single page! "

About the Author and Illustrator
Born in Australia last century, N K Morgin is old enough to hoard art supplies, but young enough to remember where she puts them all.
The Mate Code, N K Morgin’s debut book, is a retrospective of the friendships that have shaped her life journey. She’d also like to write and illustrate more books and looks forward to meeting new mates to inspire her.
When not meeting new friends, she enjoys designing and developing games (and has made many for major film & game studios), poking around rock pools for creative inspiration, and buying more art supplies.
