Sinopsis

Ash Butler has spent a decade living and travelling in campervans across Australia, New Zealand and the US with her partner, Jared. During that time, Ash drew on her love of cooking, experimentation, and, often, as caterer to the giant gatherings organised by @vanlifediaries (a social media platform of which she and Jared are co-founders), to become an expert on preparing tasty, wholesome food in small spaces. In her first collection of more than 65 recipes for campervans, caravans and tiny homes, Ash shows it's simple to cook delicious, seasonal and nourishing food when all you've got is a two-burner stove, a small fridge and an incredible view. The book focuses on preparing healthy, wholesome food that is easy to store, uses everyday ingredients and reduces food waste. Recipes are as wide-ranging and delicious as prawn tostadas, oven-less pizza, rogan josh and van-made ricotta. This is food for adventurers with a mind for sustainability and anyone who wants to eat fresh meals as varied as the seasons, locations and friends they meet along their journey. - Over 65 wholesome, seasonal recipes perfect for campervans, caravans, motorhomes and tiny houses. - Ash is part of the team behind @vanlifediaries events and social media communities. - Includes tips on campervan life, kitchen customisation and essential pantry items and gear. * One Book, One Tree. Acerca del autor

During the decade Ash Butler has spent living and travelling in campervans across Australia and the US with her partner, Jared, she drew on her love of cooking, experimentation, and work as a cook in small cafes and, often, caterer to the giant gatherings organised by @vanlifediaries (a social media platform, of which Jared is a co-founder), to become an expert on preparing tasty and wholesome food in small spaces. Working on various farms, including her family's organic farm in Numinbah Valley, taught Ash about the importance of sustainability, eating seasonally, and minimising waste. These days, Ash shares her evenings around their small dining table with Jared and their twin daughters and works during the day on a bio-intensive farm in country Victoria.
