This new edition builds on the highly successful first edition of lective Practice in Nursing/d the increasing interest within the nursing profession about reflection. The new edition includes fully revised and updated chapters from the previous edition. New chapters include the experiences of qualified nurses in adopting this approach to their work. It also includes the views of newly qualified staff nurses. The book will extend the student- focused aspects to enable students to develop the necessary professional self-awareness and ability to analyse their nursing practice in order to improve and develop clinical care. The book provides the theory underpinning reflection and also considers the reality and practicalities of using reflection.
