This work examines the latest edition of the model form of contract for the supply and erection of plant in the mechanical and electrical industries, MF/1, published jointly by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Institution of Electrical Engineers. It also deals with the model form for water industry plant contracts, G/90, issued by the Water Services Association. The book compares the main features of the forms, and examines the contractual provisions in detail, including the consequences of specific amendments which are frequently made. Brian Eggleston is the author of "Liquidated Damages" and "ICE Conditions".
