Sinopsis
This volume presents the ideas and concepts of computer arcitecture and the principles of computer communication. It covers the range of computer architecture, from the building blocks that go to make up a computer - logic gates - to collections of computers linked together - networks. The whole spectrum of computers is covered, micros to mainframes, together with architectural features such as pipelining and associative stores. Based on the author's course material, the book is written in three sections, and includes many examples and class-tested problems.
