There are many disparate thoughts within the works while at the same time always the reoccurring themes, of love and joy in the midst of struggle and pain, of stars and light, of mercy and forgiveness. How, I wondered, do I connect, weave, bring to center, the variety of subjects that seemed to flow in so many directions, like the currents of on ocean. Ah, sailing! Yes, it could work and so I began the weaving, the back and forth, the stitching of needle and thread, the tacking of a sailboat on a journey through the stars..
