LtCol David B. Brown, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret), recipient of the Silver Star Medal for gallantry in combat, was a captain and company commander in the Vietnam War.Tiffany Brown Holmes, author of Once Defiant and The Promise, holds a degree in English with an emphasis on expository and creative writing.
