Toby Smith, a graduate of Washington State University now of Santa Rosa, California, has been employed in publishing or freelancing for 30 years. Her articles on bed and breakfast inns, a specialty, have appeared in, Travel & Leisure, Travel-Holiday, Diversion, and other national and regional publications.
