ANDREA POSNER-SANCHEZ is an editorial director at Random House Children's Books and a prolific author of books for children. She lives in New York City with her husband, daughter, and chinchilla.

JOANIE STONE was born and raised in Virginia, where she still lives today with her husband and young daughter. She spends her days painting in her light filled studio in the country, surrounded by nature.
