Sir Steven Redgrave's rowing achievements are numerous and outstanding. In the span of his career, he won five Olympic gold medals, nine world titles, three world cups, three Commonwealth titles, and a staggering 19 Henley medals. He was awarded the MBE in the New Year's Honours List in 1987 and the CBE in the New Year's Honours List of 1997 and following his success in the 2000 Olympics was awarded a Knighthood in the 2001 New Years Honours List.
