"Still I Fly takes the reader on an adventure and teaches an important lesson of never giving up. As a Kindergarten teacher, reading this book to my students opens their imagination, while teaching them about life skills. Some of our Kindergarten standards, in social studies, teach about determination, being mindful of others, and putting ourselves in others’ shoes. Through this book we even learn a bit of science( all about the fly) its predators, what it eats, and how it finds food.  This book nicely ties in those standards in a fun and engaging age appropriate manner." - Yvette S.,   Kindergarten Teacher

Reseña del editor

"The thoughtfully written rhymes makes reading and listening to this book so much fun!"

"'Still I Fly' has the same theme of overcoming anything with confidence as Maya Angelou's powerful 'And Still I Rise' poem. This book successfully sends the same empowering message for children to understand."
