By their choice of poems and by the personal and critical reactions they express in their prefaces, the editors offer insights into their own work as well as providing an accessible and passionate introduction to some of the greatest poets in our literature.

Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. Dylan Thomas (1914-53) was born in Swansea and won wide acclaim for his often declamatory and rhetorical work of the 1940s, which includes Deaths and Entrances (1946). He died from alcoholism shortly before the airing of his most famous work, Under Milk Wood (1954). Praised for his verbal inventiveness, image-making power and almost pagan metaphysics, Dylan Thomas's poems are visions of creation and morality.
