The Gospel in the Book of Joshua, which book went through some editions, and is now out of print. It was not possible to amend and enlarge the original volume, hence, with the exception of a few sentences, the whole has been re-written, and is now laid before the reader under the title of The Book of Joshua, shadowing forth the Fulness of Christian Blessing in Christ. The note to the first volume may be here reproduced. The attentive reader of God s Word has, doubtless, observed an analogy between the Book of Joshua and the Epistles to the Ephesians and to the Colossians. The object of this little volume is to direct the mind to this analogy, and to lead the reader to search more deeply into the truths which are illustrated by the Book of Joshua. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples (types margin): and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (1 Cor. x. 11.
