The third edition continues the non-topological approach, presenting a vigorous foundation and encouraging facility with analysis. The preliminary section has been enlarged to include coverage of induction and recursion, and the exercise sets have been greatly expanded. This book should be of interest to introductory courses in analysis for students of mathematics, physics and engineering at second year undergraduate level; multi-variate calculus is a course prerequisite.
