Infotech is a comprehensive course for learners at the intermediate level who need to be able to understand and use the English of computing for study or work. The course develops all four skills - listening, reading, speaking and writing - through a wide range of activities which present the key language and allow the learner to practise the most important vocabulary and structures in a meaningful and student-centred way. Each of the 28 topic-based units covers a different aspect of information technology, from Operating systems to Input/Output devices for the disabled. The units contain a wealth of authentic texts which are up to date in their content.
