Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition ('First published 1979'). You can save some money by buying another copy of this book. The added cost cones with the underlining and occasional notes from the pen of J.T. Fraser. The ideas in this book no doubt intrigued him, there is a lot of underlining with his favorite red pen. His bookplate is also present on the front inside cover. I purchased a number of his books some years ago in Westport, Connecticut where Dr. Fraser lived. Julius Thomas Frazer who made 'important scholarly contributions to the interdisciplinary Study of Time' and whose 'work has strongly influenced thinking about the nature of time across the disciplines from physics to sociology, biology to comparative religion, was a seminal figure in the general interdisciplinary study of temporality.' Dr. Fraser was also a founding member of the International Society for the Study of Time. You can read a lot more about him in his Wikipedia profile. The book's in solid condition. The covers can be seen in the photos. The spine has a slight rearward lean, but the book is solidly bound from cover to cover. There's some foxing on the inside covers and a bit on the edge of a couple of early pages and rear end papers, but the text is unaffected and the pages are very clean throughout. There is a sliver of a green (marker?) mark on the middle edge and it just peeks over the edge of a few pages, far from the print. I'm not seeing any conspicuous creasing. No markings. Dr. Fraser's bookplate is the only attachment. He did put a paper clip at the top edge of four consecutive pages and it's imprint shall survive through time along with Dr. Fraser's red underlining. The book explores: gravity, magnetism and electricity, the structure of matter, breaking matter apart, antimatter, quantum theory, radioactivity, law and order in the micro-world, quarks, unified forces, and offers Conclusions.
