It also includes seven specially commissioned ‘visual narratives’ by such architects as Zaha Hadid, Steven Holl, Kengo Kuma & Associates and UN Studio. George M. Beylerian, the founder of Material ConneXion, contributes a preface, and Gail Peter Borden, the head of Architecture at the University of Southern California, writes the introduction.
