These two goats are named Billy and Nanny, and they belong to Ned Battle's uncle. Billy is a noble fellow, with long bent horns, all rough with wrinkles; while 'nanny is smaller, and has short straight horns.

Observe that when the consonant is doubled the preceding vowel is short.
