Chemical analysis is the study and investigation of a wide range of materials by different techniques and instruments. Assuming little prior knowledge, this text guides the reader through a range of different instruments and techniques needed for a thorough knowledge of the field. The text clearly differentiates between separation and spectral methods, and includes a third section containing more specialized methods that students may well need to know about. This book focuses in the instrumental side, rather than attempting to cover all the theory associated with the field of analytical chemistry.
