Ordinary differential equations play an important role in many problems in mathematics, engineering, physics and other applied sciences. This book provides a comprehensive and integrated treatment of both the analytical and numerical aspects of the study of ODE The authors aim to provide the reader with insight into the qualitative aspects of ODEs, such as stable and chaotic behaviour of solutions, to provide thorough coverage of quantitative methods for approximating numerical solutions, and to provide an extensive introduction to the mathematical modelling of real-life problems In addition to a separate chapter on mathematical modelling, a large variety of examples are provided to illustrate the concepts throughout the book. The software used in the book is available on the Internet.
