Sinopsis
This monograph demonstrates how statistical procedures form the basis of many apparently unrelated methods used in hydrological practice. Statistical models are developed to deal with regionalization, infiltration and hydrometeorological studies, and river basin modelling. The author emphasizes the interactive approach to model development made possible by developments in desktop computing, and the importance of computer graphics in both the preparation of data and the assessment of model performance.
