Sinopsis
Multiple choice questions are used as the basis of many examinations and it is necessary for students to gain experience in them - they may also be used as a teaching aid. This book provides not only explanatory answers to questions, but also a full and comprehensive background to each subject. The questions are selected to cover major topics in physiology so that following the text provides the basics of physiology. The material is organised to give first an introduction to the principles of physiology, followed by discussion of the major organ systems, and finally a section showing how the organ systems interact to produce an integrated response to a given challenge, or change in the environment. Some clinical illustrations are also provided to reinforce the textual material.
