Sinopsis
Presenting numerical optimization methods and algorithms applied to computer calculations, this text should be particularly useful for massively parallel computers. The method consists essentially of the adaptation of simple evolutionary rules to a computer procedure which is to search for optimal parameters within a simulation model of a technical device. The algorithms presented in the book are made available on the accompanying diskette.
