About the Author Gregg D. Ander, AIA, is the Chief Architect for the Energy Efficiency and Market Services Department of Southern California Edison. He is the author of over fifty technical and design related articles and was the executive producer of four "Environmental Showcase" television programs for NBC. He was recently awarded the Corporate Architect Award from the California Council of the AIA. He was educated at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, Oxford Polytechnic University, and Arizona State University, and is a member of the AIA where he is an invited member of the Committee on the Environment (COTE) steering committee. He is also a member of IES and ASHRAE. Mr. Ander also teaches Advanced Environmental Controls at the College of Architecture at California Polytechnic University at Ponoma.
