ROBERT ORFALI and DAN HARKEY are distributed objects consultants for IBM. They also head the CORBA/Java Distributed Objects MS Program and Lab at San Jose State University. They are also the authors of the bestselling Client/Server Programming with Java and CORBA, Instant CORBA, and The Essential Client/Server Survival Guide.
