This study focuses on analysis, using both the flexibility or force method and the stiffness or displacement method. Most of the structures analyzed are of the line type, although nonlinear structures are also considered as the book progresses. Classical methods of evaluating structural engineering are retained here, but in a general format easily adaptable for computer use. This book is a complete rewriting of Lawrence Maugh's "Statically Indeterminate Structures". The rewriting was necessary to present the material in a unified and systematic way adaptable to computers. Unique to this book is the way in which it deals with flexible systems, where the final shape of the structure is appreciably different from the original shape.
