Professor Tasman is a world-renowned psychiatric leader and educator. He is Secretary for Education of the World Psychiatric Association and also serves as President Elect of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists, an international academic organization representing all countries of the Pacific Rim. He is Past President of the American Psychiatric Association, the world's largest national psychiatric association. Professor Tasman is the lead editor of Psychiatry 2nd edition.
