Sinopsis

Research dealing with judgement and decision making is explored in depth by the contributors to this volume. Specialists across a wide range of disciplines, including psychology, operations research, computer science, political science and economics, they consider the basic and applied issues concering the field. The first section of the book deals with prescriptive decision science - from the identification and examination of the theory itself, through to specific problems related to the practical application of various concepts.
