Measurement errors can have profound effects on statistical relationships, and better information on the quality of measures seems needed. Part one of this book is an overview of different models for evaluation of measurement instruments, giving the arguments in favour of the Mulitrait Multimethod (MTMM) approach. Part two discusses problems of the MTMM design with respect to memory effects and other design characteristics, with a proposal for a specific design. The last part of the book discusses how meta analysis can be designed using many different MTMM studies. The design and the variables are discussed and the book ends with a proposal for an international research project.
