Hilary Burgess is Senior Lecturer in the School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol, UK, and Learning and Teaching Adviser to the Subject Centre for Social Policy and Social Work, UK (SWAP), Higher Education Academy. Imogen Taylor is Professor of Social Work and Social Care at the University of Sussex, UK, Co-Director of SWAP and is a National Teaching Fellow.
