Sinopsis
This text presents an approach to creativity and problem-solving. It relates problem-solving style to individual capacity, providing an approach to such management problems as resistance to change; lack of creation; and conflict between individuals and groups. The contributors draw on Kirton's Adaption-Innovation Theory and its measure: the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI). With a combination of practical guidance on the application of KAI and presentation of theoretical advances, it should be of interest to managers, teachers, researchers and students in the fields of occupational psychology, sociology and management theory.
