This practical approach to bank security documents, which was so well received in its first and second editions, is now brought fully up-to-date to take account of the many developments in the area. The sections on insolvency related topics are expanded, and new material relevant to bankers, in particular the development of the concept of constructive trusts, is included. The new edition discusses the shape of changes that might be made under the Companies Act 1989, Part IV. Part 2 examines the requirements for creating and registering a valid security, and Part 2 deals with debentures, including enforcement. Part 3 looks at the law on guarantees and pledges, and discusses other types of security. Specimen documents are given in Part 4.
