The fools, Vox muttered.

They ll be sorry. I ll show them. I ll show them all

It has been many decades since storms brought much-needed raid to the Edgeworld. Dark, swirling clouds now loom over the land. Brave librarian knights swoop through the skies, while troops of hammerhead goblins run Undertown with a fist of iron.

High in the crumbling palace of the Thousand Leagues, little more than a prisoner of the all-powerful Guardian of the Night, Vox Verlix nominally the Most High Academe watches the skies. And plots.

As fireballs appear in the sky, Rook Barkwater a young librarian knight find himself embroiled in Vox s evil scheming. Will he discover the truth? And can he stop Vox? If he should fail, the Edgeworld could fall into total chaos

From rock demons and rubble ghouls to hammerhead goblins shrykes and banderbears, exquisite illustrations throughout bring to life the world of the Edge at a time of great peril.

A magnificently inventive tale of menace and adventure, Vox is the second Edgeworld tale to feature Rook Barkwater.
