Paper and paper products played a vital part'in World War I] One of the most important uses of such products was the safe guarding against deterioration by moisture of supplies for our armed forces scattered around the world. This is the chief fu tion of papers used to line shipping cases. To serve satisfacto they must be excellent moisture barriers, and, of course, rem intact under the stresses to which packaged materials are s jected. Because of the many adverse conditions under which 0 troops fought in this war, these requirements were particul severe. For this reason, this investigation was undertaken to Sist in providing caseliners that would withstand the most normal conditions of transportation and Storage.
