Sinopsis

Liverpool FC became the world's most famous club during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Then tragedy struck at Heysel and Hillsborough and the club fell from grace. Now Liverpool is claiming back its former glory, driven by top players like Michael Owen and a passionate French manager, GÃ rard Houllier.
The La Loupe series will motivate students to read for pleasure, as the National Curriculum requires, with age-appropriate, lively and relevant material. The topics have been cherry-picked to capture the interest of teenagers without patronising them.

Accompanied by a Teacher's Book which contains two worksheets per book, aimed at the corresponding difficulty level, teachers can be assured that they will see a tangible learning outcome.
