"MEI Structured Mathematics" is a series of student books that have been written to support the MEI scheme of the same name. Together, they all cover the modules in the scheme, adopting a practical, active approach designed to facilitate both independant and supported learning. Pure Mathematics 5 covers the MEI Pure Mathematics 5 module. Earlier work in calculus, complex numbers and algebra is extended, allowing these areas of mathematics to be treated to a greater depth. There are also two chapters on geometry, covering polar co-ordinates and conics.
