Reseña del editor

The "Hodder English Gold 4" course combines access to a quality English programme at KS4 with emphasis on basic skills support for pupils working at levels 2 to 4 of the National Curriculum. The course has been constructed in association with the Basic Skills Agency to ensure readability and accessibility, while offering students full coverage of the English National Curriculum. This book provides an incremental programme of work with clearly specified goals. Progression is built into each unit of study and across the course as a whole, so that students can establish, revisit and consolidate key skills. Work on basic skills is embedded in the context of purposeful activities and integrated with oral work. In addition to this comprehensive coursebook, there is a range of "Hodder English Gold" literature study books, each of which concentrates on a major set text. These study books can be used in conjunction with units from the coursebook to provide integrated coverage of English and English Literature in preparation for GCSE or Certificate of Achievement qualifications.
