Sinopsis
The skeleton of a teenage girl is found under the patio of a North London house. Forensic tests show that it dates back to the time when the house was used as a B & B. Superintendent Mike Walker is assigned to investigate, but is unhappy about working on a low profile case, especially with the ex-boyfriend of his current partner, Pat North.North, on her swift climb up the career ladder, is now working on a Met police scoping team but although managing to perform admirably at work, she is suffering the mental and physical effects of losing her baby. The situation is aggravated by her strained relationship with Walker, who is distracted by the case.Another skeleton is found, then a third, and finally, the bones of a little baby. Acerca del autor
Lynda La Plante, CBE is an English author, screenwriter and former actress, best known for writing the Prime Suspect television crime series. She has been made Commander of the Order of the British Empire, an Honorary Fellow with the Forensic Science Society (FSSoc), an Honorary Fellow from Liverpool John Moores University, and also became an honorary member of the British Film Institute. She has also received many awards over the course of her career. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) gave her the Dennis Potter Writers Award. La Plante also received the Edgar Allan Poe Writers' Award and an Emmy Award for Best Mini Series: Prime Suspect. She is the author of Royal Flush, Cold Shoulder and Cold Blood.
