Sinopsis
Structuration theory provides a new approach to the underlying assumptions social scientists make regarding the subject matter of their enquiries. Anthony Giddens's writings on structuration theory are important theoretical projects, but his ideas are not easily understood, in part because many themes and concepts are not fully elaborated in his works, and a number of key issues remain to be addressed. In this book the author offers a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of structuration theory. To surmount problems in Giddens's texts the book interweaves clarifications and extensions of Giddens's themes with independent arguments and original concepts.
