The Hunting Hill serpentinite quarry is 4 miles west of Rockville, Montgomery County, about 17 miles N. 41° W. Of the Capitol in Washington, D.C. By road, the quarry is miles southwest of Maryland Route 28 at its junction with Travilah Road and mile west of Piney Meetinghouse Road, south of its junction with Travilah Road (fig.
