Biografía del autor
John Mayfield received his real estate license in 1978 at the age of 18. John has been a practicing broker since 1981 and has owned and operated three offices in Southeast Missouri, and managed over 35 real estate agents. John has taught pre and post license real estate courses since 1988. John has earned the ABR(R), ABRM, CRB, e-PRO(R) and GRI designations throughout his real estate tenure. John is a Senior GRI instructor for The Missouri Association of REALTORS(R) and the Arkansas Association of REALTORS(R) and teaches for the CRB(R) Council of Real Estate Brokers and Managers. John has spoken to thousands of real estate professionals throughout his tenure. He has been a featured speaker at the National Association of REALTORS(R) conventions on several occasions and taught in the Technology Resource Center for NAR. He is author of seven books and creator of the "5-Minutes Series for Real Estate Agents," Cengage Learning, with over 25,000 copies sold. He is the co-author of "21 Mistakes Real Estate Brokers Make and How to Avoid Them", Acclaim Press.John is a contributing editor to the "Sales Coach" section for REALTOR(R) Magazine Online and is a real estate writer for Hewlett Packard's Web Site. John is also active on a local, state and national level for the REALTORS(R) Association and currently serves as President for the CRB Council of Real Estate Brokers and Managers. Educationally he holds a B.B.A from Southwest Texas State University, an M.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and an Ed.D. from Texas A&M University. His doctoral studies focused on the adult learner and testing, especially as related to real estate exams in Texas. Dr. Rosenauer is a frequent speaker and writer on several real estate topics. He has presented programs on real estate exam preparation since 1981. He has served as a subject matter expert for the National Assessment Institute (NAI) in the writing of exam questions for the Texas real estate exams. Dr. Rosenauer has an active farm and ranch brokerage and wildlife management practice in south Texas.
